Samsung Feature Galaxy Note 4:Scanning the eyes

Before Samsung unveiled Galaxy S5, there was a rumour that the company will use an eye scanner in its top smartphone of the year. Of course that turned out to be a red herring as Samsung went with a fingerprint sensor rather than an iris scanner. However, it seems that Samsung is still working on eye scanning technology.A tweet by the Twitter account @SamsungExynos shows an image of a phone with eye-scanning user interface. The caption of the image is "Security can be improved using features unique to us. That's what we envision. What would you use?"
The image suggests that Samsung's eye scanning technology can be used to pay mobile, electricity and supermarket bills. The fingerprint sensor that Samsung uses in Galaxy S5 can be used to make mobile payments via PayPal.Considering that Samsung is developing the eye-scanning technology in-house, it is likely that the biometric function will debut with a top-end model. This makes Galaxy Note 4 a likely contender, as the rumoured Galaxy S5 Prime smartphone is said to retain the fingerprint sensor.Galaxy Note 4 is said to run the upcoming Exynos 5433 octa-core processor, which has been among the highest-scoring processors in leaked benchmark results.

It is expected that Samsung will use a 5.7-inch bendable display with QHD (1440x2560p) resolution, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, 16MP camera and Android 4.4 (KitKat) in the Galaxy Note 4 variant that will hit 3G-dominant markets like India. Markets where 4G is more prevalent will get the Snapdragon 805 processor, while sharing other specifications. An earlier report has said that users will be able to unlock their Galaxy Note 4 by simply writing on the screens.Samsung is widely expected to unveil Galaxy Note 4 in September this year at IFA 2014, along with its Google Glass rival Gear Blink and a new smart home platform.
